Palmetto St Augustine
Typically considered a common turf choice for the costal region, Palmetto St Augustine demonstrates superior shade, cold, frost, drought and heat tolerances in comparison to other St Augustine varieties. Palmetto St Augustine is an excellent warm season alternative from North Atlanta through the Carolinas and south.

• Large flat stem with broad coarse leaf that spreads by long, above ground runners.
• Maintain a mowing height of 2-3 inches (slightly higher in shade). Never remove more than 1/3 of the grass blade and do not scalp.
• The most shade tolerant of the warm season turf grasses.
• A medium fertility rate will produce an attractive dark green color.
