Fertilization and Pesticides
All turf varieties require a specific fertilization program to achieve optimum color, density and root development. Proper fertilization also plays an important role in minimizing insect, disease, and weeds. Timely applications are critical for maintaining consistent nutrient level insuring the consistent color, growth and overall health of the turf.

Insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides are part of the pesticide family. Pesticides should be applied by an experienced applicator. These applications are very important to the overall health and appearance of your turf. Early identification of pest problems is critical in minimizing decline or infestation. Pre-emergent (herbicide) applications are generally applied proactively to prevent perennial and annual weed germination. Most other pests are controlled when identified or when conditions are favorable. Proper maintenance will promote the overall health and appearance of the turf; thereby, reducing weed, insect, and disease issues.
